It is probably easier to describe what Laura XOR is not. Not mainstream, not retro and certainly nowhere near disco, her sets are driven by an almost obsessive need to find the right soundtrack for the moment. When the vibe is uptempo expect drum and bass, jungle and gnarly electronica, while downtempo moods drift toward hip hop, chilled electronics and even the odd bit of bluegrass. Preconceptions are best put down before tuning in.
